Algaecide treatments can be used in 2 separate ways, the first of which is to treat an infested surface with the algaecide and spray a custom blend on the surface and wait for the results over time 

One of the main reasons for the benefit of Algaecide treatments is they prolong the line of the surface from hash repeated pressure cleaning.
